I was shooting with my Sigma 120-300. I also took a few shots with my Sigma 14mm.

Whenever I shoot football, I wish I had a Canon 400 f/2.8.

Wow, Congrats Dave! I'm jealous, I've only been on the field at Camden Yards and to walk out the home plate doors to a crowded stadium certainly takes your breath away. I'm jealous!

Lets here some specifics! What sort of zoom were you sporting? Think I saw a wide shot in there as well.

I am a college coach in Northern NJ, and I am in the process of making a team poster as well. We have someone taking the picture, and also laying out the schedule, and also the picture. I was wondering if you know anybody that does prining at a fair price?

Excellent tips. I followed these with a new dSLR I purchased for my son's high school cross-country meets, and in just two weeks I've had over a hundred of my shots get posted to his team's website! If I could add one more tip: especially with dSLR cameras get the biggest memory card you can afford, and shoot 10x more shots you think you should, and chances are better that you'll end up with more "usable" pictures.
